Brighton v Liverpool: Live fans match thread!

It wasn't pretty but we're back to winning ways, scoring for the first time as English Champions in a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa. Youth protégé Curtis Jones got his first Premier League goal at Anfield in front of the Kop end (shame it was empty for the lad) just several days after signing a new 5 year deal keeping the young Scouser locked in to Merseyside till at least 2025.

The fifth last game of the season sees our lads travel to one of the worst named stadiums around, The American Express Community Stadium. The home of a mongrel team, Brighton and Hove Albion F.C. who find themselves dangling precariously above the relegation zone

Brighton may be lingering at the bottom end of the table but they'll be a tough unit to break down especially at home - only conceding 44 goals (in the same bracket as Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs) all season, our attacking line-up will need to have their shooting boots on. In contrast our defenders should have a slightly easier time (hopefully not a kiss of death) as Hove Albion have only managed to hit the net a measly 34 times, being out scored by Villa, Burnley, Wolves and Everton.

What team should we field though? Do we stick with Origi or return as always to our favoured attacking trio. Trouble is with games fast running out what are we learning for next season, that Origi isn't good enough? Not convinced Klopp agrees. How about Elliott, Jones, Williams and Co, are they ready to make the step up. We could do with answering these questions before next season as we don't want to have to use part of it to find out. By which point it would also be too late to address any issues with new signings.

Klopp's probable starting line-up will be something along the lines of:

Alisson, TAA, Gomez, VVD, Robbo, Hendo, Gini, Keita, Salah, Bobby, Mane.
Bench: Adrian, Jones, Elloitt, Williams, Origi, Milner, Taki, Shaqiri, Fab.

LiverBird's scorecast: come onnn, it's Brighton....... 0-4!
