Tottenham Transit Vs Liverpool FC

Old-bus
Everyone has heard of Busby's Babes but now there is the Klopp's Kids who we saw put a strong Everton team to the sword mid week. Now we change generations as the majority of the first team players return to the line-up to face a Spurs team, who seemed to be rejuvenated upon the arrival of the not so Special One, indeed that bus seems to be leaking oil and missing a wheel or two.

Spurs started a relatively strong team consisting of the likes of Son, Eriksen and Alli against Middlesbrough in the 3rd round of the FA Cup and were lucky to come away with a draw. In their previous 3 EPL matches Tottenham have managed to scrape a 2-1 win against Brighton who are fighting to stay out of the relegation zone, a 2-2 draw with the Canary's who are currently sitting on the bottom of the cage and a 1-0 loss to Southampton thanks to ex-Liverpool super star Danny Ings.  Needless to say things aren't that Special at Spurs at this present time.

Normally this is where we would compare form but that is quickly covered by the 13 point gap at the top of the table and 28 point drop down to Spurs in 6th spot (with a game in hand). Hopefully after some much deserved rest our first team players enter Spurs new ground on a mission to completely dismantle what is left of Mourinho's bus.

Spurs will be missing Kane, Lloris, Sissoko, Ben Davies and there are shadows over Ndombele and Harry Winks all have either been out for some time or picked up knocks on the weekend. Liverpool's injury list isn't much better with Clyne, Shaq, Lovren, Matip, Fabinho, Naby and Milner with some already being out for a month or two and then Milner picking up what is said to be a hamstring strain in the first eight minutes against Everton on the weekend. Although some good news has come out of the Liverpool camp with a few of the lads making an appearance at training during the week albeit a light training session, it's good to see them back out on the track.

With all these injuries in mind lets look at a possible line up, which really picks it self unless Klopp throws a curve ball and rewards a youngster or two with a start:

Allison, T2A, Gomez, VVD, Robbo, Hendo, Gini, Lallana, Mane, Bobby, Salah
Bench - Adrian, Phillips, Jones, Origi, Minamino, Ox, Williams or Elliott (not sure which it will be).
