Liverpool v City | Live fans match thread!

As I write there are a little over twenty hours until kick off for one of the single biggest matches of the season. All the talking has been done, our anticipation's at fever pitch - now it's time to get down to business and see what our Redmen are made of. Will they falter, will they fall, or will they blow the bloody doors off. I predict the latter.

Further factors are how will Messrs Ref and Var perform. I'll be amazed if there isn't at least one controversial decision but hopefully we'll get the rub of the green and in Michael Oliver a less biased ref than in recent matches. We need to do enough to put the result in our own hands though.

With City's first choice keeper purportedly unavailable and their issues in defence we seem to have an excellent opportunity to get at them and if we do so from the start one would think we'd win the game. You simply can't write City off though and it would be foolish to become overconfident. As soon as the team sheets are out we'll know just how confident Jurgen as well as Pepio are. Not a big fan of waiting about or sitting on the fence though so I'll get my prediction in now, 4-0.

I'd like to finish by extending best wishes from all at the Nest to Sean Cox and his family.
