Crystal Palace vs Liverpool (People in Glass Houses)

I don't know where you've all been but you haven't missed much and at least you got back in time for our trip to SE25 this weekend and a game against Crystal Palace managed by Roy Hodgson probably Liverpool's gratest ever manger and yes I have spell checked that and it is correct..

I know you like my little stories so when I worked in London overlooking the Chelsea and Fulham grounds I lived in Anerley SE20 within walking distance of Selhurst Park but never went to a match at any of those grounds - doh. In my defence CP and Fulham were not in the top division and I don't think they played Liverpool much, if at all.  Chelsea, like now, weren't up to much either.

Crystal Palace was named after the predominantly glass structure which was created in Hyde Park to house the Great Exhibition of 1851. This exhibition was to showcase all that was great about Great Britain so of course  it couldn't be called the normal exhibition. After the exhibition the Crystal Palace was moved South and gave its name to  the area where Crystal Palace FC now play.  I have managed to obtain a picture of a re-creation of the Crystal Palace below. This is made entirely of matchsticks by the Gentleman in the picture, Norman...….There I go again playing Russian roulette with people's names:-)
