Liverpool v Arsenal predicted line-ups & score (4-0)

After a perfect start next up for us is Arsenal. The Gunners have won two from two as well and on the face of it this fixture promises to be a far sterner test for us than our opening matches. It's way too early to assess how teams may or may not have improved versus last season but Arsenal appear to have given it a good go. Signing no less than eleven new players including reported Liverpool target Pepe. With other notable additions, Luiz and Tierney to bolster their defence, Ceballos for midfield and Asano and Nketiah to strengthen an already very good attack.

We've been muted in our own transfer approach but we didn't need to go mad. We were already leaps ahead of Arsenal, and with The Ox fit again, Keita hopefully not out for too long (reports suggest he may be), as well as Gomez and Lallana back from injury, we do have some additional options this season. So far though we haven't looked our best.

It's hard to compare form between Arsenal and ourselves but we stuffed Norwich 4-1 and Norwich tanked Newcastle 3-1. Arsenal were only able to scrape a 0-1 victory over Newcastle and so by my calculations this means we should run out 4-0 winners. We'll gloss over the fact Arsenal beat Burnley who in turn battered Southampton whom we beat only by the skin of our teeth.

One thing's for sure, to make it three EPL wins on the bounce our players will need to step it up a gear especially in midfield. Now that we've all agreed it's going to be 4-0 though let's take a look at what team Jurgen might field to make that happen.

Think we'll stick with what to date has been our best defence and our usual attacking trio pretty much pick themselves. With Alisson still out Adrián will start and have a chance to immediately redress the balance after his goal costing error. He will also need to tighten up that side of his game in general because any sloppy outbound passes will be seized upon by Aubameyang and Co.

Our midfield is trickiest to predict but I see our Captain starting this one and think that will help shore things up versus what we saw at St Mary's. I feel Milner will play again as he had a decent last game and can link up well with Robbo. Hendo can help out TAA on what is often our weakest side and one which Arsenal may target. Fabinho can mop things up in the centre.

Then again, Maybe The Ox has a point to prove to his ex club and has made a case for himself in training this week and Jurgen may want Gini in the mix doing the dirty work he is renowned for. Perhaps Origi, or even Shaqiri may start. Or Lallana. The above is what I think's most likely though.

What say you then all. Make your line-ups at if you wish to or simply list them below along with your thoughts on how you see the game going both tactics and score wise.
