Cardiff vs Liverpool

Cardiff-mascot
Cardiff were formed in 1899 as Riverside Athletic. They changed their name to Cardiff City in 1908 and have not looked forward since. Their nickname is the bluebirds but for their mascot they have gone out on a limb and chosen...... a bluebird (called Orville?). I still think they should have gone for Katie Price, or for a touch more class, Jodie Marsh.

Regular readers will remember, the last time we played Cardiff , I revealed that their owner Vincent Tan had his own clothing range featuring a pair of very high waisted trousers. Well sales did not go well (perhaps on reflection red was not the best colour) and he was plunged into a financial crisis. He was told he had to tighten his belt but took it a little too literally and almost strangled himself.

I have since discovered though that he is in fact both a secret Liverpool fan and a fan of The Village People and I have the proof. The following picture shows him, blending in almost unnoticed amongst the Cardiff fans, wearing the Liverpool kit he designed himself and spelling out, with his arms, the letters YNWA to the tune of YMCA. Good man, He'd like to be the fifth Beatle but will have to settle for being the seventh one in the village, people.

The team is difficult to predict as Klopp tries to get the most out of his squad as the matches are coming thick and fast as we approach the season's climax. I will go for: Alisson, TAA, Lovren, VVD, Robbo, Fab, Hendo, Keita, Mane, Firmino and Salah.
